GRATITUDE

Gratitude walks hand in hand with humility. Gratitude allows us to understand that we would not be who we are without the help, support and love of others.

Have a grateful heart and it will soon fill with such joy that you have no choice but to share it with others.

Professor Robert A. Emmons, the gratitude expert, famously states that gratitude is the ultimate performance enhancing sustance.

Choosing gratitude during a time of suffering offers a pathway out of the pain.

Gratitude can taste bittersweet. It is often experienced when we witness the pain of others. Our friend has suffered a bereavement, our collegue has lost their job, another’s child is ill. It is through the suffering of others that we experience gratitude for our own blessings.

A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.
